Any students who are comfortable speaking/reading/writing English and Korean, and have some extra time....I need volunteers!
1st, I must learn Korean...teach me!
2nd, I need TRANSLATORS for: reading/responding to mail and emails in Korean, phone calls and meetings.
3rd, RESEARCH assistants - I run a community music center which requires research in Korean via the phone and computer.
OR...forget anything about competency in English, can you pull weeds out of the dirt? paint? dust?
If you want to come spend time at my very beautiful hanok, and help keep it beautiful for the public to come and see concerts, please come anytime and enjoy the atmosphere while helping! I will feed you instant noodles....
These jobs don't pay W/$/E or give you an A+....but you can be happy you are helping someone, AND helping will improve your English skills, AND you can list the volunteer work experience as an internship on your resume and I will write you a wonderful letter of reference if you ever need one.
